ABTEC Hydroniclean systems are a complete side stream filter. The side stream or slip stream concept is that only a portion of the closed loop fluid is filtered at a time. The filter is constantly cleaning the liquid while the pump is in action. As the filter becomes dirty the flow through the system gets less until the activity ball on the HPB-70 visual flow indicator becomes stationary. This is the signal that the filter needs to be changed.
