The G196 series valves use the reliable valve body and magnetic operators from the G96 gas valve along with a manual A valve. The manual A valve, tested to commercial cooking standards, carries the Delta C approval for commercial cooking applications. This combination demonstrates the reliability and long operating life offered by the G196. Pilot gas is regulated based on the valve regulation setting. The G196 can be used with natural gas or LP at pressures up to 0.5 lb/sq-in and comes with an adjustable regulator. Field-serviceable regulator conversion kits are available to switch from LP to natural gas or natural gas to LP.
