Dayton non-submersible pedestal sump pumps are designed from quality materials to provide extended life in rainwater evacuation applications from residential sump basins. The combination of a high-torque and dual ball bearing motor with corrosion resistant pump materials provides reliable pump service. This unit is equipped with a 10-ft. long, 3-pring grounding type power cord. A float switch assembly is provided and must be assembled for automatic operation. The pump motor is air-cooled, and not designed for hazardous or flammable fluids or for pumping locations classified as hazardous in accordance with the United States National Electric Code (NEC), ANSI/NFPA 70. This product is not for use in ponds or any other aquatic life system; not is it for use in swimming pools or similar bodies of water where water recreation is present.
