TIGER® aluminum 4-1/2 in type 27 grinding wheels are specifically designed for high performance grinding and extended wheel life on aluminum. These wheels blend abrasive grains with Weiler® non-loading formula, resulting in a fast and consistent cut rate on aluminum. The flat profile with depressed center allows for a wide range of grinding angles (0 to 45 deg) with a right angle grinder. Ideal for heavy stock removal, scale removal, weld removal, weld blending, edge beveling and torch-cut softening. Small 5/8-11 nutted metal hub reduces gouging of the workpiece and allows for 30% more usable surface area of the wheel in addition to providing quick spin-on, spin-off changeover of a standard hub.
